WHEN: Around 6AM, Monday morning

Coming to terms with the fact that she was going to be here for a while, despite not being sure if she had been captured by an enemy, and that this was just some elaborate experiment, Miranda figured that she may as well get a feel for the area. Having lived in New York City for many years, she recognized a lot of the area, so she figured it shouldn't be too hard finding a route for her morning run. It was just a matter of navigating around the not-so-familiar buildings and remembering her way back.
Knowing that Lizzie liked to sleep in, but unsure of Liz and Maya's schedules and routines, Miranda quietly made her way out of their apartment at 5:30 that morning, also making sure to not disturb any of the other residents, who all happened to be displaced, as well. Or so, that was what they said in public. As a cyber intelligence officer, Miranda wasn't so quick to trust just anyone. No matter how comfortable her long time trusted friend seemed to be with everything. It was probably going to be a while before Miranda came to even remotely trust things in this new place.
Wearing slightly oversized Army fatigue pants and a white t-shirt, Miranda made her way out into the city, just as the sun began to rise. With her phone on her arm, playing her regular morning playlist. She kept to the sidewalks out of habit, despite there not really being any traffic that she had noticed throughout the city thus far. She knew that she was out early, so she didn't expect to run into anyone, but it was always possible.
