Sometimes having the Sight was a curse as much as it was a gift. Things she could see but couldn't prevent. Instances she could feel coming but couldn't wrap her fingers around to stop. Loki's betrayal, the arrival of the Aether on Asgard, and now this. Her own death. While she knew it was coming, had seen it in Thor's eyes, she thought she might be a bit more ready.

She thought certain she would be sent to Valhalla. It had been a Warrior's death, after all. Defending her son's girl, and in turn, the world around her. But none of the tales of Valhalla had prepared her for this. This was much closer to Midgard, though far busier than the cities she had visited. Reaching out, she felt at least one familiar presence - more, if she thought on it, but nothing felt concrete. There was just too much going on around her.

The letter came to her in a bit of a rush. The wind picked it up and fluttered it around for a moment before she snatched it angrily from the air. And when she read it, she had to laugh out loud. "A 'jubilant' entity, then? That seems highly unlikely."

	"More like an idiotic one," Tony replied. He'd spent a full day at Stark Industries and wanted to get home to dinner with his family, but he couldn't walk by an obvious new arrival. It was an unspoken Goodland rule - long time residents helped new arrivals. And Tony? Well, he was one of the oldest (and not just in age, kids) residents. "Hello, I'm Tony." When the dark haired man first addressed her, she actually blinked. Were this her home world, she would have berated the man for addressing her so informally.

But this wasn't home. She didn't need her gifts to see that. She lifted her chin, trying to keep at least some resemblance of royalty about her despite her confusion and, well, a bit of fear. "I take it, then, that we are not on Asgard, Tony?" Or the halls of Valhalla. She was still undecided if this was good or bad. "I am..." If this wasn't Asgard, did her title mean anything at all? "I am Frigga. I suppose you might say I'm new."

Tony was only mildly interested in the woman's story until she mentioned Asgard. He really just planned on pointing her toward the web-board and showing her where the apartments were located before she uttered that fateful word. "Asgard," he repeated. It couldn't be...could it? He cocked his head, now showing full interest in the arrival. Thor usually introduced himself as "Son of Odin", but something told Tony that Frigga was his mother. He must have mentioned it at some point. Of course, there were how many versions of Asgardians here? Who knew what this woman's time-line was? "I have a friend from Asgard, Frigga. We go way back." He shook his head. "But, no, I am afraid this isn't Asgard. It is Goodland, a...well, a dimension unlike any other I've studied."

"And this friend. Are they here?" They were. Or, at least, someone was. She could feel them. It was a distant feeling but they were definitely there.

Despite herself, the corners of her lips turned up slightly. "And you've studied many dimensions, have you?" Goodland. It sounded so pedestrian for a place that had the ability to pull her from death and drop her amongst others. Others who spoke of dimensions and spoke of Asgard as if they knew it.

"I have in fact studied many," Tony replied. "I'm a scientist among other things." He felt his hopes getting up for Thor. His daughter and sister from alternate realities arrived so why not his mother? "Does the name Thor mean anything to you, madam?" He wanted this for his friend. And, well, if she wasn't? Or some alternate version? He'd have enough time to warn his friend. Brother, really.

Well. That wasn't honestly the answer she'd expected. The idea of multiple dimensions was even new to her people. "Thor is the prince of Asgard, heir to the crown." She paused, wondering why he was asking and if revealing her connection to the future king would put either of them in danger. But if the man was mortal, as she suspected he was, she more than likely could protect herself just the same. "And he is my eldest son."

Tony broke into a grin and snapped his fingers. "I knew it! Thor will be thrilled. He is an old friend of mine and he has been here a few months." He pulled out his phone. "You'll have one of these in your apartment along with a computer. Do you know how to use it? I can show you around the network." He was talking a lot, but he was genuinely pleased for Thor. Not everyone had been kind to Tony in the beginning, but Thor had not only been there for him, but for his kids as well. It meant a lot to the man. "Did he ever mention the Avengers?"

Well. He was certainly excitable. "I have heard of both devices but I've never used them." It was honestly all she could do not to break into a grin herself. It would be so good to see him. He had looked terrible when he'd come from the future. So sad and so scared. Who knew what she was about to find.

"Earth's mightiest heroes," she quoted, finally allowing a small smile. "He quite enjoyed the work he did with you all protecting the planet."

The term made Tony's smile falter. He came from a time of failure and although he knew it all worked out, he still felt like he let his family down. Some hero. He, however, continued talking. "Thor works for me here. He should be home soon." Tony would let Thor fill her in on all the rest of the crazy Goodland happenings. Better to hear it from her son. "I'll walk you to the Villa though, if you like? Show you how to use our network to talk to everyone else."
