The homesickness really kicked in today.

I found a kennel hiring assistants. They asked me about my experience and whether I have any fears of dogs. They'd never heard of Mabari.


On the up side, I have a job, and whoever recommended pizza is my new personal hero.

i ran into some idiot trying to tell people he was selling andraste's ashes, at least passing off nugs as dogs is less harmful.

...you're right that isn't a dog.

Charlatans. I may not be the most pious person, but knowing the real thing... Tricking desperate people into spending their coin on fakes is disgusting.

well that's kirkwall in a nutshell though. tricking desperate people and blood magic.

makes me miss my own now but honestly what in the maker's name? it looks like if you're not careful, you lose it.

People carry them around in bags, apparently. Half of them have knitted vests because they don't have any fur to keep them warm.

don't do this to me i'll adopt them all and put them in little knitted sweaters. i don't even know how to knit, but i'd learn so the little weird nug-dogs aren't cold.
