healthespirit ([info]healthespirit) wrote in [info]somerealityrpg,
In the few days Anders had been here, on this island everyone kept calling Manhattan, Justice had come out in a bid for control a few times. His hold, though, was weak, almost like it had been when he had first slipped into his body. Almost like they weren't one intertwined like they had been during the attack on the Chantry. This wasn't something he had mentioned to anyone else and he couldn't quite put a finger on why he was so hesitant with this. With the way the mage had twisted the spirit, it should have been a good thing that the connection felt different. Even so, he didn't like the fade just not being there. He went back and forth between being relieved and terrified and, of course, half of the people he was trying to avoid lived in the same 'apartment' as he did for now. If he didn't already know, he'd be questioning everyone what brought this down on him.

Was every important figure in Thedas being kidnapped into this world?

Was there a way to separate Justice and himself without either dying in this world?

If only there was just one slip of something familiar that wasn't a person. What he wouldn't give to get a piece of home right about now. Then again, he didn't really have a home, especially not Thedas.

Bringing a hand up to his face, Anders rubbed at a spot below his eye, almost not hearing the call from behind him. There was a short pause to movement in the mage, even to his breathing, before he turned around, looking at the man who had called out to him. There was a moment when he debated even saying anything at all, but he had turned around and as far as he could see, the blond didn't present any kind of threat. It wasn't a more than a few moments before he responded, his face a little serious. He could feel magic sparking in his fingertips, a feeling that was akin to the tingles of an asleep limb waking up.

"Yes, I am." Ostriches were something odd to him - there wasn't anything quite like them where he'd come from and, at first, they had filled him with some sort of unease. "I don't know how far I've come, though."
