Tony's heart went out to Eleven. He was lucky having so many loved ones in Goodland, but not everyone was so fortunate. He found it particularly sad when children showed up with no family or friends to claim them. Every child deserved to feel loved and protected. Sure, he was glad Eleven had Hopper's hat, but it wasn't a substitute for Hopper, which was why Tony was happy to help Eleven with the Eggos.
"Me too," Tony agreed. "I think we are doing better than any restaurant."
