Tony Stark ([info]notyourplayboy) wrote in [info]somerealityrpg,
Tony dropped his hands so that they rested on Peter's shoulders. "You saved him, kid," he replied. He didn't know how much to divulge, but, somehow, he thought flat out lying to him wasn't the best idea. Tony recalled learning about his father's work with SHIELD and the dirty business Stark Industries got into; he felt so betrayed and didn't want Peter hating him. "I think we might be from...from different points in time," he added softly. "Not very different, but..." He shot him a small smile. "If you hadn't been there, I'm not sure Dr. Strange and I would have made it..." He stopped when he remembered Stephen ultimately didn't survive. He cleared his throat. "I am sorry, kid, I don't know if I should...you know what? You should change. Yep. There are clothes here. You hungry?" Tony urged himself to get a grip, but his emotions were besting him. "You must be hungry," he continued. "The fridge is stocked, which is good, because without Pepper and Happy, I am totally helpless, you know?" He kept one hand on the boy, but used his other to rub his eyes while glancing away. "Sorry, I fell asleep so eyes are kind of dry." He forced another smile for Peter's sake. "I'm glad you are here, kid."
