Anna shook her head as she chewed on the cookie, thinking carefully as she did. "No. No, I don't think we should involve them unless we have no other choice. If this is part of their belief system or religion or whatever it is that's going on." She shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Well, we know as well as anyone how hard it is to convince religious fanatics."
Not that she thought the daedra were fanatics in the derogatory sense of the word. But she also knew how hard it was to have faith in something that you couldn't really understand. Blind faith required a certain amount of loyalty and it took a lot to break that loyalty. And if they could find a way out without having to do so, it would be better for everyone, including Zudeh. There was no point in breaking her faith and then just disappearing. Or worse, breaking her faith just to use it to their advantage.
Anna bit down on her lip at the thought and after a moment shook her head, trying to clear the thought before it formed more clearly. "There's always hostility between Snape and everyone else," Anna pointed out. "That's not really any different than it ever is. So, if Snape can come up with something without the Marauders, than that's okay. If the Marauders can come up with something then that's okay too. Maybe we can get results from both of them and then have Andrew compare notes or something without telling them."
Anna nodded in response. "I'd prefer it if we didn't either," she said. "But our usual methods of combating magic isn't going to work here, I'm afraid. I think we might HAVE to fight fire with fire, as it were."
