Anna nodded now as Cas pulled away from her. "I'm sure he'll be under the impression that we're depriving the baby of something MAGICAL," she said, grinning. She paused for a moment, the grin turning more into a smile. "I'll agree with you on that." Anna said, raising an eyebrow. "It did pull us back together. So maybe it's not all bad."
Anna vaguely felt that they owed Meredith an apology for probably making her somewhat uncomfortable. Although, she figured that this probably wasn't even the hardest thing to hear if the stories she had heard about their hospital was any indication. Either way, she managed a soft smile when Meredith came in.
She leaned back onto the table now, slipping her shirt up enough to let Meredith get access to her abdomen. Anna found herself flinching as the device touched her skin, even after Meredith had warmed it up. She held her hand out towards Cas to get him to come around to the other side of her, letting out a soft breath as she did.
