Alan nodded and then frowned, stopping in his tracks. "So...wait. How do we melt the candle down? Just let it burn itself our or can we like...nuke it? In the microwave. The faster, the better, right?"
He couldn't really believe that was it - he'd fought the dark presence for days without sleeping. Anything to get Alice back and in that amount of time, he wasn't sure how many tools he'd ended up dodging, but he did know he'd survived everything from multiple car accidents to a sky lift trolley collapsing out from under him. If he'd known all it took were symbols and a lamp, he'd have gotten on it and immediately. That and he was a little nervous about it getting out with or without the wax. If anything, it was persistent and in the worst way.
Never mind where they were gonna get the cement from, but then again, they'd been going around stealing crap for months. He guessed it was all relative there and he'd go out and do that himself if that was the case.
He scratched the back of his neck nervously, still feeling twitchy, but so far, no more Taken. Part of him felt like it was kind of like letting the cable guy in to connect the TV and be done with it. "I dunno what else to say," he said, feeling dazed. "Thanks."
