"A soldier is a soldier, conventional army or not," Steve said in agreement; a fighter was a fighter no matter what. Each of the people he named had their own skills and used them to fight their respective battles successfully. Together they'd managed a huge victory, though the spoils remained to be evaluated- if it was a victory at all.

I think it would be best that we all meet each other since we're building alliances, especially now." It wasn't building an army, per se; it was of strategic importance that they all learn to trust each other in some way, or at least learn to get along. That was of the utmost importance, and Castiel and Anna had proven that they were fighters just as the rest of them.
Though he doubted he'd call the angel's attention to himself by prayer, especially after Castiel mentioned that she probably wouldn't prefer that sort of contact. Besides, other things Cas had mentioned were still fresh on his mind and he'd have to think those things through first.
