The place looked homey, lived in, and comfortable. It was nice! And it looked soft too, which made him feel a little less intimidated by the kinds of people he was dealing with here. Whatever Anna was, she had a lot of power behind her, but she didn't seem like the demonic type. Obviously Anya was different in that way too, sure, except she still was kind of cutthroat and intense. Nothing about Anna spelled that out, much to Jonathan's relief.
Looking between the two as they spoke about this reality and Andrew himself, Jonathan's brows furrowed again as he caught on that. "Wait, Andrew's supposed to be here?" He'd missed that part. Maybe in all the shock, amazement, and the confusion, he didn't know. But he'd missed it and that was an incredibly important part. Something that had him looking at both of them intently and worriedly.
"Start with that, please. How is Andrew here too? How do you know him?" Andrew didn't seem the type to keep cross-dimensional travel a secret. Even if he could summon powerful enough demons to make that happen, it'd be so dangerous! And if it was an option, why not just run to another dimension rather than Mexico? None of it added up.
"I totally get that this is an alternate reality because, no offence Professor Snape, you're someone I should really not have any chance of meeting in my life," he offered to the sneering man before continuing looking at Anna, "And I'm okay with that. I'm cool with the whole alternate realities thing. Anything's possible when it comes to the multiverse, but what about Andrew? Is that how you knew my name, Anna?"
