"Serafina's gotten so big," she agreed. "I'd like to try drawing her sometime with permission - I dunno if I can emulate her feathers on paper perfectly, but it's worth a try. She's beautiful."
Anna didn't claim to be any good at drawing. Definitely not at Andrew's level, but it was still fun. Lately, it'd been helping her get her thoughts in order. Even if all she'd been able to draw lately were yellow eyes and pairs of black wings, it was enough. It made it easier to enjoy the wedding. And to enjoy the dance, although the more she thought about it, the more she felt like she would have enjoyed that anyway. Andrew was the best friend she'd been needing and just him being there was more than she could ever have asked for. So for that, she would stick by him and support him no matter what. It was something she felt they both deserved.
Grinning at the dip and his comment, she drew him into a hug as soon as the song stopped. As always, the compliment made her slightly self-conscious and her cheeks pinked at it. "Thank-you," she whispered. "For everything."
Drawing back, her smile only widened. "I think this means I owe you a drink."
