Poker face. It was a skill he'd learned from actually playing poker with all of his Slayers. Strip poker, mind, which is why he'd gotten extremely good at poker as well! The last thing he wanted to do was get rid of his clothes in front of anyone, let alone those he had to work with every day. But they enjoyed it and it kept their spirits up—it was something for each of them to look forward to on Saturday nights. Poker face.
"Yeah, I can see why they'd want to remember everything. Which is why I've been trying to get photos too, to cover everything else I might be missing with the video. I got a really good one of Serafina glaring down menacingly at Abra while he was trying to ruffle through people's pockets during the ceremony." Which was an alarmingly cute picture and one he wanted to keep a copy of for himself as well. Serafina had finally evolved into a Pidgeotto, and her feathers looked absolutely gorgeous… but the look also made her look much for threatening when she had a glare set in her eyes.
Anna was right though, both of them walking down the isle looked nervous. One for his footing and the other for just about every reason in the book. "They made it though, and I have total evidence of how good they both looked. Anna's hair was absolutely perfect. Matched the dress in every way," he commented, glad that everything had seemed to go smoothly. Yes, there were missing people that broke the unity that the day was supposed to symbolise, but the bride and groom had said their I do's and not one got hurt.
Dipping Anna for a bit of flair when the song called for it, he smiled as he brought her back up. "But between you and me," he added softly, aiming for cheeky and sly, "I think your hair looks best today. Hers was perfect for a bride of course, but yours? These curls? To die for."
