Izzie snorted somewhat inelegantly as Nathan sat back down at the table. "Hey, he can have my drink once I'm DONE with it. I'd just like to be able to drink it first." Izzie let her eyes drift over to where Cas and Anna were dancing with Abra draped around Anna's neck. "I don't really think I did."
First off, she didn't think very many things COULD scare the two of them. Number Two, if Anna had thought Izzie was actually a threat to Abra or Squirtle, Anna would have been on her by now. And C -- No. . .three -- they'd have to be out of their minds to think she'd ACTUALLY slip Abra a roofie. There was no way of knowing what their medicines would do to him. She and Meredith had already had this conversation.
Besides, after what the two of them had done for her the last few days, the least Izzie could do was NOT poison their kid. She owed them in a HUGE way that she didn't think any amount of baking would make up for.
Izzie looked around now at the mention of Meredith. "I think maybe she went to the restroom," she said. Honestly, she'd lost track. Izzie had a feeling Meredith was taking her willingness to be out and about with people twice in the week as a cue that she no longer needed a babysitter.
