The problem was that it was going to be twice as hard to push that out of her mind. It wasn't like she'd just been told she'd someone had spilled the salt. Which really probably wasn't the best analogy given they were talking about demons, but it wasn't something someone said and then you ignored or pushed from your mind.
"Then we're going to have to figure out who we can actually count on as allies," Anna said after a moment. "Because five of us CAN'T take on a demon army on our own. We'll need help."
And really, the boys needed to be told sooner rather than later. Although Anna was ninety-five percent certain that if that did happen everyone in the city would know about it. It was too dangerous not to tell everyone at some point. . .
Anna shook her head to clear her thoughts. She hesitated for a long moment, glancing over to where Cas was talking to Claire and then looking back at Anna. She moved over to hug her sister as best she could and then pulled back enough to look at her. "If anything happens. If anything changes. If. . ." Anna paused for a moment. "It's not as if we're really going out of town or something. Call me if anything starts looking. . .not right."
She waited, raising an eyebrow to receive a confirmation. If she MADE Anna promise, then she would do as she said. Otherwise, they could walk out the door and discover all hell had literally broken loose.
