Maybe we stay with the same people no matter what reality, but then it could just be choosing similar realities to make it easier."
Meredith figured it was partially the alcohol talking, but it made sense. Nathan, Peter, and Claire still knew each other - she was from their pasts, but Nathan was still her father. Peter was still her uncle. No matter what, they were still a family, so all in all, it gave Meredith some hope that if she ever did see Cristina again, Cristina would remember her and also hopefully not hate her. She wasn't sure if she could handle something like that.
