Claire nodded slightly at this as she thought it through. It would be weird -- insofaras you could define anything as weird in this city -- but it would definitely be weird to have a friend or any sort of loved one come from some sort of alternate reality. It was strange enough having Nathan and Peter coming from her future.
Then again, Cas and Anna were from different realities and they were doing just fine. For that matter, she was pretty sure that everyone from their reality as well had SOMETHING different for them. Claire seemed to remember Anna saying something about that at the time. Or at least everyone was from a different time period.
"Well, maybe it has to do with how extreme the differences are," Claire said now. "I mean, obviously things aren't TOO different for you and Izzie or. . .you wouldn't be friends." Maybe. Claire really wasn't sure how much different the realities would have to be in order to make that big of a change. That was getting into like, Star Trek level of weird and Claire was doing well keeping up with Douglas Adams right now.
Claire smiled as Abra took the crackers from Meredith. "I don't know that he likes to throw up," she said. "But even if you hadn't SAID it, he still would have known you thought it." She shifted in her seat as Abra settled down into her lap with the crackers in his hand.
At least he wasn't wandering off to steal more drinks at the moment. Claire would count that as a win.
