( SO sorry for the delay! My brain's been all over the place lately. I'm getting to the other tag I owe you as well. Promise! )
"Yeah, a bunch of my stuff actually came with me. All of my weapons, research, collections... even my clothes. If I hadn't come with my computer or some of the blueprints I was working on, I probably would've gone a little crazy when I first showed up." The fact that he did go kind of crazy anyway was left unsaid. Being uprooted to the closest thing he'd ever had to a real family, being stolen away from his responsibility as a Watcher, being removed from his friends, mentor, and all when he felt he was finally coming to terms with the world as a whole (or so his therapist said), everything was just thrown away and he had to start from scratch again.
Then Spike showed up, and Buffy, and then Spike was gone and Andrew didn't know what to think. It was easier to withdraw, to fall back into comics, TV shows, and the realm of fantasy in general. So he started collecting more again, more and more and more. As evidenced before them. There were more though, so many, many more. And Andrew had no regrets! How could he? This was better than dealing with the thought of abandoning his Slayers!
"Oh totally. There's a few nearby, but I think my collection's slowly trumping theirs now. I just don't have a lot of DC comics outside of Batman... but after meeting Batman here? Wow! Reading about him is such an experience now." Andrew couldn't help but grin from ear to ear at that. He met Batman! And brainstormed over some of his ideas for AI technology! First it was Batman, then Tesla, then meeting Steve Rogers? Sometimes he wondered if all of this was an illusion, a dream, a made up world by some demon that got into his head and was going to pull the plug soon. There was always a catch with that stuff.
