Rating: G
Normally, Tim would defer anything involving Wayne Enterprises to Dick, as it had been left to him to run the business following the death of Bruce. At the same time though, with the murderer still on the lose and many questions left unanswered, Tim was determined to leave no stone unturned. Bruce had taught him long ago that everything was and could be connected, if one looked hard enough, and to that end Tim had taken a keen interest in the stock of Wayne Enterprises following the death of his mentor. Apparently some mystery man was buying up stock even as it plummeted, and while Tim would have otherwise liked to believe it was an opportunist of some sort, he felt somehow that this was different. Through his own investigations and that of others it appeared that this person was setting up the pieces to make some sort of move, but what? And why?
And most importantly, could it be directly connected to the death of Bruce?
Tim could not yet prove it, but he had a feeling that it was, even if it did sound crazy. Because if it was connected, that would mean that when compiled against everything else he had, he would be looking at a young man, who used to do odd jobs for the Penguin that stole his gun and murdered Bruce Wayne, while being shadowed by a member of the Demonz, and that one or both of them were grabbing of Wayne Enterprises stock.
It made no sense, but he felt as though he were onto something. That all of his little pieces of evidence were genuine, and that he was simply as of yet unaware of how they fit together to form the larger puzzle of what really happened the day Bruce Wayne was murdered. He needed more. There was something he was missing, and he knew it, but his leads were running thin.
He would have otherwise liked to have pawned off his current task on Proxy, but did not feel entirely comfortable with running through the business records of Wayne Enterprises, as well as all of the stock information. So instead he was doing it himself, trying to follow clues of who this buyer was through cybespace, and in his frustration he was beginning to realize that he was having just about as much luck here as he had had on the streets trying to find Orhan.
Something was going to have to give, and soon.
Before the lead grew any colder.
