Dream!Cass was in full Batgirl regalia, soaring across the night sky amongst the skyscraper-shaped pillows of her fair city.
She was chasing a red bird that used to be a robin but now looked more like a cardinal. He kept circling back every so often to cheep cheep at her, and she flapped her wings (she was now fully a bat) double-time and stretched out her grasping feet to catch the bird in her paws.
He swooped out of the way, then flew far ahead. She chased him some more, and she was delighted when he circled back around to catch her. Tangling their legs together, they wrapped their wings around each other in an aerial embrace and plummeted toward the pillow city streets below.
But when they hit, they didn't bounce. The street shattered like glass beneath them, and they fell through an expanse of sirens. They separated, and she tried chasing him again. There was a waterfall made of chocolate; she tried chasing him toward that. He wanted to meet her there, so he cheep cheeped and took off toward the chocolate waterfall at full speed and she chased her and she wanted to catch him because the chocolate smelled so good and turned into a chocolate hot tub and now the bird was a chocolate bird and she really needed to punch whoever was jostling her body--
