Behind the cowl that he wore, Tim had eyes that were as blank as the lenses that regarded Oswald impassively. If this two bit white collar criminal thought that he was in any position to lecture him, than Tim could add delusions of grandeur to his character profile as well. For now he was paying more attention to what Oswald said beyond his condescending words and tone. And as easy as it would have been to cuff Oswald and declare the search for Bruce's killer over, he was convinced now more than ever that the Penguin was unfortunately innocent. At least of the killing.
"I am certain you and your men would love me to do that", he said, without taking his eyes off Oswald. In truth Tim would have liked it too, but he sincerely doubted that they would just hand over the murder weapon to him. Even if he did have a better chance of finding the real killer. At the same time though, it was an opportunity he could scarcely ignore, no matter how dangerous or foolhardy. But before he risked that, he had more questions.
"A child, or someone short of stature shot Bruce Wayne with your gun. There are not many individuals with that physical description, and with the skill set to slip away into the night afterword. While framing you in the process."
Red Robin had no love for Oswald, but knew from experience that men such as this could be a resource.
"Does that sound like anyone you might know?" He allowed Oswald no more than a few scant seconds to absorb the question before adding, "If you help me I be sure that your name is cleared of this murder."
