Gotham Cemetary - Agent Nigma & Creote
There were a few interesting faces in the crowd, which Eddie took note of, for later but nothing that stood out. Eddie wasn't sure what he was looking for and why, but he had a hunch that there was a significant relationship between the deceased Bruce Wayne and Gotham's vigilante crowd. Batman and his ilk were equipped with some pretty high tech gadgets, which meant that either they were wealthy or had a wealthy backer. And who better to back up a group of stylized crime fighters than a man whose own parents had been murder victims in Gotham City?
The funeral was drawing to a close, when Eddie had a distinct impression that he was being watched. Carefully turning his head and scanning the area, he noticed a solitary man standing far apart from the rest, eyes upon him.
Upon first estimation, Eddie could determine this man was not originally from the United States... by his face, he looked Eastern European, possibly Russian. There was a hardness to his expression, which denoted a rough upbringing, but the way he held himself, he clearly had military training at some point. Had he come to pay his respects to Bruce Wayne? No. One knee of his jeans was wet and muddy from the ground, as were his hands, which told Eddie that he'd been down cleaning off neglected gravestones, which in turn gave a hint to this mystery man's personality.
The guests were dispersing, leaving for the wake, but instead of following suit, Eddie began slowly walking toward the lone man in a non-threatening sort of gait. As he got closer, the features became clearly and Eddie recognized where he'd seen this face before.
"Alexandr Creote, Zdravstvuyte." Eddie didn't know much Russian, but he was familiar with common phrases.
