She listened to what he had to say about Julian as a light bulb went off in her head. He was an intelligent man and seemed to see through what Calandar Man was talking about - just like Harleen. The doctor had seen through his words the first time they met and it had led to more information about him. This time, though, it had been more difficult due to his agitation. Perhaps, though, the Joker could be a key.
"I certainly agree with you." She meant that on all fronts. Sure, Julian was interesting but now she was fascinated with the man called The Joker. The way he spoke, the intelligence he held, and the uniqueness of him. That is likely why he was so dangerous.
"Then I have some questions for you, if you would?" She paused thinking through her wording. "I spoke with Julian yesterday, he seemed quite erratic but had brought up some reference I'm unfamiliar with." She glanced to Jack as he seemed slightly unsettled and surprised that she was talking to him about it. However, she kept pushing through.
"He spoke about 'the fifth of the first' and being caged. I determined that he was talking about National Bird Day. However he also mentioned Mali and Bulgaria. Would you know how these are connected?" He seemed to like puzzles, so why not?
