Lizzy was fashionably late, as usual, but it was only because she and her father had gone off to buy a new car. She was now the proud owner of her very own hybrid, and was feeling quite smug at the fact she was saving the environment, unlike most of her classmates. Really, she never understood how they could not care about things like she did.
She entered wearing a long cotton dress she had gotten in India the previous summer over an organic cotton and hemp pink bikini. Her long, blond hair tumbled down her back in natural waves and she was in a genuinely good mood as she spotted Babs and Harleen. She would miss them once she moved to California, and really didn't have much of a summer since she was leaving for Tibet in two weeks.
"Girls," she said, kissing them both on the cheek. "Sorry I'm late. My new car finally came in." She heard the splash and looked over at the pool. Dick Grayson was here as well. He was cute, but guys like Dick Grayson don't go for hippie bookworms like Lizzy.
