Susan & Ron's Halloween Extravaganza
Who: Susan, Ron, Their Close Friends and Family What: The Biggest and Best Halloween Party of the SEASON When: October 31, 2002 - November 1, 2002 Where: Susan and Ron's Devon Home Rating: In some places, probably very high.
Ron and Susan, as well as Arthur, have spent the weekend and last few days preparing their home for a magical Halloween surprise for their friends and family. While the guests were informally invited over the journals, much care and consideration was taken to provide the best celebration they could have.
Not only did Susan and Ron want to celebrate their new positions, Ron as a Senior Auror and Susan's return to her family's seat on the Wizengamot, but they also wanted to celebrate their freedom and love with those they adored.
Ron and Susan were dressed as Frankenstein's Monster, and the Bride of Frankenstein. Ron looked dashing in the Bride's dress, and Susan handsome as ever in a suit slightly too large around the shoulders and arms, but perfect for hiding their child around her middle.
The house was expertly decorated with spooky sights from a coffin drink cooler, a massive amount of pumpkins, and many tables for games outdoors. The tables were built by Ron himself. There were also hay bale couches for canoodling couples, and a haunted house out of the goat barn for those adventurous spirits in the party.
Food was catered from the pub down the street that Ron and Susan enjoyed frequenting. The muggles had provided enough food for double the amount of guests, because Ron and Susan hoped the party would span quite a few hours.
When the daylight waned, carved pumpkins illuminated many of the areas with just enough light to make the mood spooky, and hopefully a little sexy. Illicit substances were provided as a throwback to Susan's crazy parties before she was pregnant, and places to sleep were provided for those who wished to stay the night.
About halfway through the evening, a surprise was announced to the party goers.
