Who: Katie Bell & Fred Weasley (George and/or Penny obviously welcome!) What:Friend! Where: Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, 93 Diagon Alley When: Thursday, October 26th Rating: Lowish Status: In Progress
Even as she did it, Katie knew that creeping in through the side door of the twins shop wasn't the smartest thing she'd ever done. Not just because there was the very real potential that her unexpected visit would spook one of her friends (which was kind of the point), but also because she was fully aware she could be walking straight into a classic Weasley twin trap. However, Katie was feeling brave, her first jaunt around Diagon having gone far better than she'd imagined it might, and so, after taking a couple of measures to protect her precious cargo, she pushed the door open wider and let herself inside.
"Hellooo?" She whispered, making her way slowly through the dimly lit room and towards the next door. There was no reply and no sign of life so far, but she could see a thin strip of light from straight ahead. Katie couldn't remember for the life of her what room lay beyond, whether it was the actual shop or stock room, but she was on edge in the dark and so didn't think of knocking on the door before opening it and the sight that greeted her as she did had her scream, her hands flying to her face as she spun to face the way she came.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" She cried, trying hard to sound genuine and not at all like she was about to laugh. Of all the things she'd expected to see upon opening the door and the one of the boys in such a state of undress was not one of them. "The side door was open and... sweet Merlin!" She exclaimed, trying hard to resist the temptation to look over her shoulder to confirm who it was that she'd just seen. Something inside her mind was screaming that it just had to be Fred, but without seeing the ears it was impossible to tell. "I think I've gone blind. Who is that so I know who to blame?"
