Now that Cassius could see her properly, he was disgruntled and irritated. She had this infernal habit of smiling at him and he saw her do it once again as she ducked into the loo. He grumbled a bit as he took a long drink of water to wash away some of dry taste in his mouth and hopefully hydrate himself a little better. He sank back into the couch once he had finished the water and rolled his head a bit to look around the room.
It was comfortable. Homey. Kind of boring. But it was the flat of a young single woman that was shared with some other disciples. He couldn't expect the excitement of decor the likes of which he could purchase in her home.
When she came back, he took the potion and swallowed it in two gulps. The water he had before was helpful with the ingredients that aimed to hydrate him, and within moments he was feeling better and more like himself. Not like lukewarm death.
He twirled the bottle between his fingers and he looked up at the young woman. He would admit that she was pretty, in a kind of plain sort of way. "Thank you."
He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his coin bag. He had much less than he thought he would by the end of the night, but with the strength of his hangover it made sense. He placed a Galleon next to the bottle and added a handful of knuts as well. "Should cover it."
He continued sitting and looked at her closely for another minute. "Why were you out so late?"
