Who: Renée and Anthony
What: She's out for a drink
Where: The Leaky Cauldron
When: Sunday, late afternoon
Rating/Warnings: Nothing right off the top of my head
The week had been dull, to say the least. No interesting leads had come in, no rebels had slipped up... for the most part, Renée busied herself with paperwork and spending time wandering about. She had come to know Diagon and other Magical areas rather well spending plenty of time on her own two feet, getting to know the layout, the people, as best she could. The more she hung about, the better grasp of English she found, as well as became more comfortable with living here on her own. It had been difficult at first, but she seemed to be settling in nicely. If only she could find some friends... It wasn't anyone else's fault but her own, however. Renée had never been very good at making friends, and those she had made over the years, she hadn't kept.
But if she ever wanted to leave her flat, she had to learn to be independent and learn to just go at it alone. Which is why she found herself alone, with her drink, at the Leaky Cauldron. Honestly, she didn't mind it too much though. She was having an enjoyable time just people watching and minding her own business, though she supposed a bit of conversation might have been nice. Maybe she'd write to John.. He was a good man, and she found herself enjoying his company more and more.
"May I 'ave another one, sir?" she asked as the bartender walked by, sliding her empty glass in his direction.
