Who: Max Proudfoot and Lenora Flint What: Questioning Where: The DMLE When: After the interview came out
Honestly, Max might not have cared if some journalist decided to spotlight the Rebels to get attention. Sure, they they would have brought them in for questioning, but he might have easily passed it off to John, or someone else. But no, this woman had to highly Ivy-- the woman he loved, the one who like all women eventually betrayed him, the woman who went so far as to turn her wand on him and help that vermin of a Weasley escape.
He’d had Nora brought into one of the rooms, and he’d just left her there, for a long stretch of time. He wanted her to realize that she was going to be on his time, and if she had any desire to get out of that room, she’d do her best to respect that.
When he finally walked into the room, he cast a subtle and quick spell that would make it appear to anyone monitoring the room that he was simply sitting at the table talking to the woman in front of him. It was surprisingly easy to fool the monitoring system. He sat, finally, across from her.
“It’d be so much easier if you just told me where you met Ivonna Montgomery and what you’ve learned about the rebels.”
