Who: Gabrielle Delacour, Renée Jolicoeur, and John Dawlish What: Tracking a rebel 8) Where: Cirque Nocturne When: Backdated to Saturday, July 29th Rating: There will probably be some language and some fighting
While the Circus had been absolutely lovely, and Renée found herself enjoying the time she spent with John immensely, they were still here for business reasons. In a manner of speaking, anyway. Honestly, part of Renée wished she was wrong, that Gabrielle Delacour was back in France somewhere, flitting about and living a merry life, but in her gut, she knew that wasn't true. And while others might have been sympathetic, and let their hunch fall to the wayside, she was not that sort of person. No, she was determined to prove herself.
And while it took a while, Renée knew after staring at Gabrielle's face while she performed, that it was indeed her. The veela part of her was sort of hard to miss...
Once the performance was over, all Renée and John had to do was flash their credentials, and they were let backstage without a fuss. After asking one or two performers, they were pointed in the direction where Gabrielle would be. It took a bit of convincing on her part, but Renée was adamant for John to give her a shot at talking to the other girl first, before acting. Maybe this could be resolved peacefully once Gabby realized she had no where to run. Quietly, around the area, John and herself set up strong anti-apparation charms to keep the other girl from trying to pop out. Once that was done she smiled at her companion, stepping in a makeshift room while John waited outside. She made sure he could mostly hear and see everything that was going on, so he wouldn't worry too much.
Slipping inside, Renée crossed her arms with wand in full view.
"Bonjour, Gabrielle," she said clearly. "I 'ad 'oped it was not you, but alas, I know my eyes do not deceive me. But do not worry. For thee moment, I just want to talk. For old times sake?"
