“Very well then.” Emilia said simply, trying not to look as disappointed by the answer as she felt. She nodded and sat down in the chair, feeling almost awkward that he was telling her where to sit in her own home, but said nothing. The less she said to him, the less she would have to lie to him, right?
She folded her hands in her lap and leaned forward slightly. “I see my sister almost everyday. The last time I saw my sister was the evening before she went missing.
