Who: Ivy Montgomery & Neville Longbottom When: Saturday, July 15th Where: Coffee Shop, London What: Neville catches Ivy off guard Warnings: Violence
Walking out of her flat without a wand had been beyond difficult. She stood in her living room for nearly thirty minutes, wondering if she could hide it well enough that Fred wouldn't know she'd brought it. Being wandless made Ivy feel vulnerable in ways nothing else ever had before. She was left defenseless and that had never been a position she'd found herself in before. And as much as she wanted to go back on her word, Ivy knew that she'd made a promise and that promise needed to be kept. So, she left her wand on her coffee table and walked out of her flat. Turning the key was such an odd feeling and having to hail a muggle taxi was even odder. But, if this how to earn Fred's trust then Ivy was willing to go along with it.
She'd had the driver drop her off nearly ten blocks from her destination. Ivy wanted to walk the streets, keep an eye out for any surprises. As much as she was proving herself to Fred, he had to prove himself trustworthy as well. She'd dressed casually and comfortably, telling herself that this wasn't a date and she didn't need to impress anyone. After circling the shop several times, Ivy was certain no one was watching her and she slipped inside.
Why was her heart pounding away? It was just coffee. Okay, so it was coffee with one of the most wanted criminals in the magical world and if anyone found out she was being so reckless she'd probably be fired. Or worse. And yet, she couldn't resist.
Smiling at the girl behind the counter, Ivy ordered herself some frozen and blended concoction and took a sit with her eyes on the door. Part of her expected Fred to stand her up. Looking away for a moment, Ivy dug into her bag to remove her journal, hoping flipping through it would help settle her nerves.
