They had only been walking in the forest for a few minutes when they saw the camp fire. Cassius was watching the dog sniff when he spotted the flickering light out of the corner of his eye. He smiled and nodded towards the light, indicating that they'd head that direction for a bit of sport that evening.
It had been a great day, over all. He had spent some time talking and flirting with Nadia over the journals, and had spent the morning on the beach. Sienna had been following him for the last week, and Cassius hadn't wanted to give her anything interesting to see, so he had been biding his time a lot lately with books and tea. Not that books and tea were a hardship for Cassius; this much tea and book reading was feeling like a lot, however. The warm day had passed quickly, and soon Cassius met with Daniel to begin their evening out.
"Looks like we've got some campers." Cassius softly said with a smile. He'd hoped the warm weather would draw out campers this weekend, and he was right. He was eager to find out how many were there, and if they were magical or muggle.
He was giddy. His wand itched in his palm, ready to be used for more than warming his kettle. Images of what he wanted flashed through his mind, and Cassius couldn't wait to draw the first drop of blood.
