Nora had spent most of her morning at the Prophet ruining the lives of her reporters and their trash articles. It was safe to say she enjoyed the position of editor that Adam had bestowed, not that she'd ever tell him that. By noon she had taken off for the day, knowing she could go over the rest of her work later in the evening and made her way home to relieve the Nanny early. It was always a nuisance having to travel so far to see friends and family, but at least she still could, so she wasn't about to complain.
Grayson had been excited by the prospect of an adventure and didn't put up a fuss as she picked him up and apparate them both to the boarder. It didn't take long for her to be allowed inside, perhaps one of the many perks of being the head of security's niece, and managed to make it to her Aunt's by no later than 2.
"I'm here, Iris," she called out, Grayson wiggling in her grasp and making silly faces. "Mama Mama mama mama mama mama," he kept repeating over and over until the other woman came into view. "Kitty!" He yelled as he saw his Aunt approach.
Rolling her eyes, but with a warm, loving look on her face, Nora shook her head. "He's convinced most things are kitties nowadays. What can you do? The curse of a one year old."
