Who: Cassius Warrington and Nadia Shacklebolt What: A Meeting, a discussion of courtship When: Sunday, May 6, 2004 Where: A Cafe by the Sea in Tinworth Rating: Low
In the month since his injury, Cassius had nearly lost it all. His life. His relationships (some more casual than others). His power. They had all come incredibly close to being lost entirely. But he was still here, still part of the world, and now finally back on the upswing.
Lucius's anger had helped push Cass further along in his recovery. While it had been nearly impossible for him to do much to wreak havoc upon the wider Wizarding World, he was ready to start helping again where he could. He had started in assisting Rosier with the potions, but now he was hoping to come up with something that would cause terror within the Ministry. Unfortunately, nothing was coming to him.
Evie had shown a little more than a week ago, and his mind was still playing on that interaction. She's demanded of him a divorce, finally, and with that they were quit of each other. He'd stopped wearing the ring ages ago, and he'd stopped thinking of her as his wife even before that, but to finally be free without the financial burden of divorcing her himself--it kind of threw his world off kilter.
He'd done the casual dating thing, he'd nearly fallen in love once after separating from his wife, but now, here he was, on his own. Taking tea by the sea. He smiled though, with an easy air of satisfaction. The world was finally open to him, and he was ready to see what it brought his way.
