Who: Ginny Lestrange & Hermione Granger When: Monday, April 16th, Mid-Afternoon Where: Molly's House, Godrics Hallow What: Hopefully helping Hermione find a new passion in life. Rating: Low
Ginny Lestrange had a lot of wonderful things in her life. She had a husband whom she loved more than she thought possible, a perfect son, and another child on the way. Her house was grand and gorgeous and her dogs made her laugh every single day. She wanted for nothing in life, was close to nearly all of her family, and could do or say anything she wanted. It was a charmed life, she knew, but it had come with a price.
Ginny was, more often than not, lonely. She missed having close friends. She missed having a large group of people to go out with and laugh with. Ginny had never really had the life most people her age did. She didn't go to pubs, never had foolish drunken sex. And while she loved what she had now, a part of her would always miss what she had skipped over.
It didn't help that her best friend was barely a shell of the person she'd been before. Hermione was broken and Ginny feared there would be no coming back from what Lucius had done. Hermione should have been the goddmother to her son, but Ginny had to let go out that dream. She should have been Ginny's maid of honor, but that hadn't been possible either. There were so many moments in her life where Hermione should have been and Ginny missed all of them. She'd always miss her best friend.
But, she could try and give Hermione some new sort of life. Which is why she'd taken Hermione to the halfway house in Godric's Hallow. Once inside, Ginny showed her the bedrooms for the mothers and children, toured the kitchens and finally led her out into the garden.
"Did you like it? I was sort of hoping you might want to work here. I need someone I can trust and there's no one I trust more than you."
