Who: Everyone in Tinsworth (please tag yourself!) What: Gabrielle Delacour and Draco Malfoy’s wedding. Where: The Garden’s of Malfoy Manor When: Sunday, April 7th, evening time
Gabrielle and Draco, despite having limited time, had put a lot of effort into their wedding. It was a simple, but elegant affair that took place in the gardens of Malfoy Manor. House elves worked for days, so that the bushes and archway under which the ceremony took place would be dotted with pink and red flowers, each white chair had pink ribbons, and the white carpet that led to the altar were lined with fragrant rose petals.
After the ceremony, while the newlyweds and their families took pictures, the people who witnessed the ceremony were led away by origami butterflies to a heavily shaded area full of carefully decorated pink tables where the guests can enjoy an open bar and find their seating at the tables. For the reception, Gabrielle changed into a much more comfortable white lace dress. The guests will enjoy a mixture of classic French dishes as well as beloved English foods that Gabrielle and Draco personally picked out. After their meal, there will be a beautiful wedding cake and a table with an assortment of French pastries. As the sun sets, and the sky darkens, floating lanterns keep the garden well lit.
Not far from the tables, there is a band playing music, a lovely moderate sized dancefloor and a bunch of small lounge areas for people to talk and dance.
