When Rolf apparated to the dock of the lightship, he shook out his hair and adjusted his cloak around him to make himself more visible and less frightening to the young woman who would open the door. He was aware of what he looked like to others. Huge, solid, built like a tree. Terrifying if you weren't expecting him, and he came up pounding on the door demanding to be let in.
And there he was, staring at the lightship and wondering how you even got to the door. He reached up a hand and knocked on the hull hoping to gather someone's attention. Each knock sounded with a deep echoing clang, and Rolf looked up to see if anyone could see him. Eventually, Rolf noticed a little face looking down from one of the portholes with a big grin.
"Piwate Wolf!" Teddy shouted.
"Ahoy, Captain!" Rolf greeted. "Is your first mate on deck?"
"Mia!" Teddy shouted ducking back into the ship. "A piwate is wanting to come aboard! Can we let him in?"
Rolf chuckled, but hoped that Mia recognized that he was the pirate and that they had spoken over the journals earlier that day.
