He made sure everything Mel could have needed had been set out before she'd arrived that morning. Any drugs or potions she could want were laid out, a set of his clothes was left on the bed, and all the good smelling, soothing bath products were set up by the tub. The day after the moon, her comfort was all he cared about.
They'd snuggled for a while when she first got in, then he left her to rest while he puttered around the flat. He ate a bit, then set down to work. After a while, he put his music book away and sat at the piano to tinker.
