Cassius, Ivy & Helen
Cassius was admiring his handiwork at the top floor of St. Mungos. It being so early in the morning, the tea room had been nearly deserted, except for several hospital staff and visitors who had stayed with their loved one overnight. Over all, there were seven people in the tea room. Five cups of tea were stained red, a plump witch slouched dead over the hot egg dish that she had planned to serve that morning for breakfast, and one poor soul had choked on a sausage. For all that he'd love to claim the death of the last victim, it truly had been an act of God that he choked on the sausage he'd been eating when Cassius had come in and slaughtered the cook.
Cassius had barely broken a sweat by the time he had finished; he grabbed one of the items from Lucius' list out of the pocket of the woman, and he confidently strode out of the room and down the stairwell. This item was the second to last on Lucius' list. The people were all dealt with, but one more item was needed, and it seemed that it would be the trickiest to find. It wasn't likely to be in any of the public areas of the hospital; it would be behind a locked door, and perhaps in an administrator's office which would have it's own keyspell. He'd truly be lucky if he found it before meeting security.
Just as he had the thought, Cassius heard the sound of rushing feet sprinting up the stairs. As he was on a landing, Cassius stopped to evaluate his next move. He could rush up the flight of stairs back to the tea room, or run down to the next floor. Neither option was preferable. The next floor was only ten steps below him. The tea room was four flights. He made a mad dash down the stairs to reach the door to the Spell-Damage Ward only to find the door lock.
He grasped his wand and cast out "alohomora" which did nothing to unlock the door. An anti-unlocking charm was placed upon it. There were four different charms that Cassius knew, but none of them would be quick enough before he met the other person in the stairwell. So, instead of attempting to escape, Cassius turned around and faced the stairs. He wasn't about to go down without a fight.
His wand was out, and his posture was relaxed; as if he was casually waiting to meet the other person. When she finally came into view, he knew exactly who it was.
"Montgomery." Cassius said with a slight nod. The two had previously worked together, and she had gotten him in trouble for his treatment of Oliver Wood. He allowed her a brief moment to get up onto the landing below him, but then he cast a charm that would push her back in hopes that she would trip down the stairs. If he could avoid a confrontation with her, he would.
