Emilia and Open
Emilia was the head of the Accidental Spell Damage ward, and as a result, there were a few weekends that she had to work the overnight shift. It was one of those things that Emy didn’t mind though, overnights where generally a pretty quiet time to work, and it allowed for her to catch up on paperwork that she often times couldn’t get done during the day. She’d taken a stack with her on a clipboard, trying to run up to the tea room to grab something caffeinated to keep her awake during the last few hours. She’d made it half way up the stairs when she heard a scream (which too be honest, wasn’t too out of place in the hospital) but the alarm that followed caught her attention. Dropping her paperwork, Emilia ran back down stairs to her ward.
As she moved passed rooms, she used a spell to lock them, the safety of her staff and patience were of the utmost importance to her, and she certainly wouldn’t say anything if her staff didn’t want to put themselves in danger as long as they were helping secure their patients first. The ward was long, however, and winding, it took a while to get rooms secured. Coming out of one room, she spied an unfamiliar figure.
“Who are you and what are you doing here?” She demanded in her most intimidating voice.
