Alicia held Angie tightly, blinking harshly to stop her own tears, she had been so frightened for the woman in her arms. So scared she would never see her again. "You have absolutely nothing to be sorry for, nothing," Alicia stroked her fingers through Angie's hair.
"I bet it is, you do know if you ever want to talk about any of it, I am here for you, I will just sit and listen," Alicia knew from her healer training that she would be able to sit and listen to a disclosure, or at least that is what is was called at work. Something that was told you by a patient that needed to be shared with your superiors. She had been trained not to react with emotion, but to be able to listen and give advice where needed.
