Who: George and Ron Weasley (Open to other Weasleys)
What: Drinking after a funeral
Where: A bar in France
When: After Fleur’s funeral. [Note: I don’t actually know when Fleur’s funeral is, so this could be backdated/forward dated as needed.]
George had been to a surprising amount of funerals in the last several years, but being an active participant in a war would do that too you. He had been to his mothers and brothers funerals, been to Tonks’ funeral, and Harry’s. He and Fleur had been friendly, even after she left Bill if only because he wanted to be around for his young niece. She hadn’t always returned his gesture, but that didn’t mean it was any easier to attend her funeral.
They still had a while before the Portkey left, and just like George did after the funerals when he was younger, George had a very sudden urge to find a bar. If he were being honest, he hated funerals, the thought of death scared him more than anything. There were times, when he was a rebel, where he was certain that he would go—especially that time he’d been laid up in Luna’s hospital for weeks recovering from that dark arts spell—if Rabastan hadn’t intercepted, he wouldn’t be there at this juncture. It was hard to push those thoughts out of his head when shown a family crying over the death of their daughter.
He clapped his brother on the back, and ordered two beers, glad that he wasn’t drinking by himself. He didn’t know what to say, and he wasn’t even sure what there should be said. He just sat next to the younger ginger, pushing a beer towards him.
“To, uh, Fleur, I suppose.” He said, raising his glass slightly.
