Who: Rodolphus & Henry Lestrange, Sophie Roper What: Romance Where: Sophie and Rod’s new home. When: Sunday evening.
Rodolphus and Henry had been using the time that Sophie had been spending at the office to put their plan in motion. Rodolphus had sat his son down weeks ago to talk about the possibility of him marrying Sophie and the little boy had been ecstatic. He knew that Henry absolutely adored Sophie, and seeing them together constantly melted his heart.
The efforts had been a book, full of drawings and narrations by Henry, who loved being so involved in the process. The day that Rodolphus had decided to propose, Rodolphus had easily made up a lie about having to tie up some things in dissolving his quidditch properties, and asked Sophie to take Henry out of the house and spend the day with him, giving her galleons to take the young boy to a movie and lunch.
While they were gone, Rodolphus had enlisted Drogol’s help in rearranging the living room in the new house to fit the ideals that he wanted. The Room was set in deep red light, filled with balloons and deep red rose petals. On the carpet, there was a trail of flickering tea lights that would lead Sophie and Henry to him.
At the beginning of the path, was the book of sorts that Henry and Rodolphus had assembled. It was simple, made out of card stock and ribbon for binding, full of pictures that Henry was meant to narrate on the way through the home.
Henry could barely hid his grin as he lead her into the home, pausing for her to be impressed with the décor, before picking up the book and showing her the first page.
