Who: Nora and Alec What: Waking up after the game Where: St. Mungo's When: Sunday, early morning Rating: I mean, mentions of injuries and whatnot. But I don't think they'll end up fucking on the bed, so...
The last thing Nora remembered was a huge roar, followed by the ground shaking while they sat with Sophie and Rodolphus at the Quidditch game. Honestly, she hadn't been to one of these things in so long and had actually been enjoying herself a bit, even with her 9 month old crawling all over her. But eventually, he fell asleep in his carrier, even with the noise of the crowd around them.
And though she wasn't aware of what was going on when everything went to shit, she did know she saw the roof start to collapse, as well as the floor beneath them, neither being a good sign. Without a second thought she snatched Gray up from his seat and wrapped herself around him as room around them fell. She didn't remember much after that, which was probably for the best. With her body surrounding her and Alec's son, her head, back, and legs took the brunt of, well, everything. Her skull had been fractured, her right leg nearly shattered beneath the weight of a beam, another one hitting her back had caused a bit of internal bleeding, and whatever explosions they used... well, there were a few burns at least from heated metal she had come into contact with.
She didn't remember any of this though. She didn't remember being rescued, she didn't remember going to the hospital. She had been completely out for an unknown amount of hours.
Nora shot up the moment she regained consciousness, disorientation trickling into every part of her brain. Where was she? Where was her son? What had happened? Panic gripped her chest as she looked around, half crazed. "Where is he? Where is Gray? Alec?" tears filled her eyes and she tried her best to ignore the pain she found herself in suddenly. But none of that mattered, not now.
