Simon was ecstatic. He recalled fairs from his youth in the muggle world but none were as great as this. The rides! The music! The magical animals! Simon wanted to do it all. He pointed ahead as he watched a flying horse take off and ride around the fair, the rider screaming happily. His face lit with excitement. "I want to do that!" He called out to anyone who would listen.
Simon wasn't exactly popular. He typically spent most of his social time with his sister Rebecca or his brother Cormac, but he was well known through the ministry circles for his association and participation in the Muggleborn adoption program. He was anticipating to have come to this on his own, but he was glad for the company that decided to come with him.
"This is so incredible," Simon said as he watched the train loop-de-loop on an invisible track. He saw the floating ferris wheel and he couldn't help but be hit with a sense of nostalgia. "I must ride that," Simon said with conviction.
Simon decided he would pet the magical animals at the petting zoo, get some tasty treats, and then ride the magical ferris wheel before the night was done. "Is there anything else we must do?" Simon asked, turning to his friend.
