Who: Amelia and Terence Higgs What: A bit of a scare Where: Their flat When: 01.21.18 Rating: Low? Mia was absolutely beside herself when she saw Dean's entry, but as much as she absolutely hated to admit it, he was right. She couldn't go to him, couldn't help, and that killed her. As much as she absolutely loved their daughter already, she couldn't stop the slight spark of resentment that settled in her brain over the idea that if she hadn't been pregnant, she could have helped in some way.
But of course, that was just unfair and silly, and she knew it. But the back and forth of powerful emotions that tended to coincide with being knocked up didn't care much for logic. She knew that her other friends were getting him, that he was at Mungo's and he would hopefully be okay. Mia would stop in after a day or two. She wanted to go sooner, but knew that he would need a great deal of rest and wouldn't get said rest if she came for a visit.
She felt so utterly helpless though, and that feeling turned into downright frustration. So trying to find a constructive outlet, Mia made her way to the nursery, moving about and hanging a few spare decorations on the wall that hadn't quite made their way there yet, as well as a few other projects. Perhaps it was her current agitated state, or that coupled with working on the nursery, but the dull pain of her lower back turned in a sharp, intense pain in her abdomen causing one of the pictures she was levitating onto the wall to fall to the floor with a loud thump.
Moving to the dresser for support, Mia groaned softly, internally repeating over and over to her little girl not right now. You're not ready, and neither am I.
