The Order of the Phoenix |
Struggles The Order has struggled with many things. The main issue, however, remains that the Order cannot agree on how to proceed in the war. Some members of the Order believe they should create a strong offensive front to meet Death Eaters head on. Others believe that gaining the support of the public is the correct way to win the way. The truth remains that while the Order spends their time bickering, the Death Eaters continue to make progress and gain ground with each passing day. Becoming A Member In order to become a member of the Order, several steps must be taken. First, the potential member must have a sponsor from within the Order. The sponsor must submit the potential member's name to either the current Leader or a Senior Member. A Senior Member will then meet with the potential member and determine if the potential member would make a good addition to the Order. After this meeting takes place, the Senior Member will meet to discuss the potential member and the question of membership will be put to a vote. Simple majority wins. In the case of a tie, the most Senior Member will make the final decision. Should entrance to the Order be denied to any potential member, the potential member will be Oblivated. Their memories of their meeting with the Senior Member will be erased from their mind in order to protect both the Order and the potential member. The Interview Senior Members interview potential members must inquire about several topics. These guidelines have been put into place by the Senior Members and are not up for debate from the general public. The topics include: Defense Ability, Family History, Magical Strengths and Weaknesses and Potential Risks. |

Leader The Leader of the Order is a member of the Senior Council. They are the Leader in name only. The final decisions of the Order will always be voted on by the Senior Council. The Leader, however, will appear to be the final say to the remaining members of the Order. This is done to ensure that the Senior Council remains a secret to the Order at large. The Leader of the Order is a very dangerous position to hold. They will, undoubtedly, receive the most attention from the Death Eaters. As such, the location of the Leader will be a secret known only to the Senior Council. Senior Members The Senior Members are to be the guiding force behind the Order. The Senior Members are the deciding factor in anything the Order chooses to do. The existence of the Senior Council is also a secret, known only to the Senior Members. While the rest of the Order knows that the Senior Members exist, they are not aware that these members work together and vote on the direction of the Order. This is done to ensure control of the Order remains in the hands of the Senior Council. In addition to directing the course of the Order and determining new membership, the Senior Members are also in charge of overseeing various areas of the Order. Each Senior Member is to have a number of Order members they are to keep a close eye on. This is done to ensure no member's concerns or opinions are over looked. Senior Members will not make it know to the rest of the Order who they are meant to keep an eye on and will instead communicate with each other about various members and their complaints/concerns. Members Members of the Order are expected to assist the Order in many ways. While no member will be told they have to fight in battles with Death Eaters, every member of the Order is expected to be able to defend themselves. Should a member of the Order lack the ability to defend themselves, they will be expected to spend a considerable amount of time working with specified tutors for that purpose. Members of the Order will be forbidden from sharing the plans of the Order with anyone who is not a member. Regardless of a Neutral's political views, information about the Order shall be only known to members. If it is discovered that a member has been sharing information with someone who is not a member, they will be removed from the Order. It is expected of every member to attend every meeting hosted by the Senior Members. The only members excused from attendance are those currently in captivity or too wounded to travel. If a member missed two meetings in a row, they will no longer be considered a member of the Order. This is done to ensure every member of the Order has the same knowledge. Without knowing the plans of the Order, a member is at a greater risk for death or capture. Members of the Order are expected to participate in any mission assigned to them by the Senior Members or current Leader. Failure to complete missions will result in being removed from the Order. This is done to ensure that the Order is comprised of members who are truly willing to fight the battles in front of them. |
Safehouses The Order has several Safehouses throughout Britain and Europe. These homes are designed as a safe place for Order members to live in either on a full time basis, or part time. For more information on Safehouse, please click this link. Medical Aide The Order has a clinic run by Patricia Stimpson. The clinic is located in a moderately large house on the outskirts of Enniskerry, Ireland & the edges of Wicklow National Park. Easily findable by the bright yellow door, the house looks rather dreary and almost condemned by muggles that pass it by. The house itself is warded, requiring a password (often updated and passed around order members). There is an apparition safepoint located 100 meters away from the house in the forest behind the property. Inside the house, the study, dining, and living room of the first floor have all been converted into patient rooms-- magically expanded to accommodate 4 - 8 beds depending. Each bed is sectioned off for privacy by room dividers, and contains basic first aid kits and potions. The kitchen is a moderate size, containing appliances well past their prime, and the breakfast nook contains the only dining table in the house. The second floor contains her, Maisie, & Ellie’s respective bedrooms, a bathroom, and a common area that is sometimes used as an additional bedroom. The basement is used as a library and potions room. Shelves of books, records, and research notes line the wall next to the stairs, the rest used as ingredient & potion storage, all clearly labeled and very stringently arranged. In the center of the room is a table with cauldrons and other things of a potion-making variety. Trish’s skills are in spell damage, poisonings, & potion making. Though she has started to become a little better versed in artifact damage with the twins around. She studies hard, but is still a little lacking in magical bugs, and is rather useless when it comes to animal-induced injuries. Long term injuries are transferred out to proper hospitals, as she lacks the ability to care for them in the clinic. |
