His greeting had been barely out of his mouth when he heard a voice informing him that his greeting to Nymphadora Tonks by using her given name wasn't something that was done wisely. At the sound, he shifted his gaze swiftly from Tonks to the girl who had joined her at the same time he had, and he gave a small nod in a way of greeting without being formally introduced. A brow rose slightly in interest over the name preference, but Dennis didn't preceed to ask questions that he would have under normal circumstances. Instead, he withdrew his hand from his pocket and slide it easily into Tonks', a tight smile coming over his boyish features at the sudden realisation that they were soon to be off to the compound Tonks had spoke about in her journal rather vividly. "Dennis then, as I think what we're about to do should allow us to be on friendly enough terms for first names," There was nothing like bonding over burned bodies and ashes that once used to be humane beings.
He grimaced at the question, "As ready as you can be for something like this, yeah?" His hands disappeared into his pockets again when he noticed Alicia Spinnet's were shaking softly. He didn't want to look and see if his own were, and so hiding them from view had been the best decision. Welcome to the Order rung in his head as he turned away slightly, facing in the direction the compound lay, which wasn't hard to find. The smell of decay was brought in from that direction on the wind.
Colin and he had wanted to hear those words like any young person hoping for better times, and with those words she brought back the fact that haunted him endlessly. Colin was still missing. His expression shifted slightly into one of misery, but was gone within seconds. "You wanted us to scout the area yesterday, do you still need us to do that before we start our search?"He was pretty sure of the answer, but he felt a suddenly need to fill his own silence.
