Who: Bellatrix and whoever from the "dinner party group" wants to join her. When: Early Saturday morning after the masquerade, 2am Where: New Galloway, Scotland What: Killing Tracey! And other assorted villagers, of course. Rating: Violence Status: In Progress
OOC Note: Bella's been rather sneakily quiet about this whole plan and didn't tell anyone aside from Rodolphus what exactly they were doing or where they were going. Instead she made the rounds during the masquerade and gave everyone she invited the apparition coordinates and instructions to show up at 2am (so they'd have time to go home and change first if they wanted.) And since this has the potential to turn into a bit of a mess and I want to make sure we cover the killing Tracey part, I'm going to skip ahead of the arrival threads and just start in with Bella explaining wtf they're doing out in the middle of Scotland at 2am after everyone has shown up. :)
Bellatrix really did not understand why it had taken several months for the hit-wizards she had tasked with the project to finally locate Tracey Davis. How hard could it be to find a single rogue Death Eater? And not a terribly bright one, at that. She should have just taken over the project herself but she had been a bit preoccupied with the actual war. But when they had finally come to her on Wednesday with their report that she had been found hiding in New Galloway, Bellatrix knew she had a project that would please the other Death Eaters looking for a bit of post-masquerade entertainment. She could have had the girl brought in to the Ministry - it probably would have been the more sensible course of action - but it was going to be more fun this way. Not only would they make Tracey pay for her defection, they would also punish the villagers for harbouring a fugitive. Never mind that most of them were Muggles and had no idea that anyone was looking for the blonde girl in their village. Those details did not matter to Bellatrix.
Tracey's house was on the outskirts of the small village and Bellatrix had arrived a few minutes early to take down the girl's wards. She didn't really have a plan beyond 'torture Tracey, kill Tracey, kill random villagers, wreak havoc, the usual' but as she was standing outside the house, she decided on a whim to barge in and pull the sleeping girl from her bed. Before she had a chance to reach for her wand, Bellatrix had Tracey's wrists bound behind her back. She couldn't resist the urge to cast a cruciatus on her (oh, she had been waiting for that!) but she did not let it last long as she realised the others were probably outside and waiting for her by now. Grabbing Tracey by the hair, she pulled the kicking and screaming girl out of the house to where the other Death Eaters had appeared.
"I'm sure you all remember Tracey," Bellatrix declared as she tossed the girl on the ground, keeping her wand trained on her in case she got any ridiculous ideas about running. "It is long past time that she learned that our Lord does not abide defectors. And the rest of the people of this village will learn the price of aiding a fugitive. Have at it." She didn't bother with any further instructions. With this particular group they were all more than capable of finding entertainment here, whether it was torturing and killing the Davis girl or going off to kill villagers. It was a veritable buffet - something for everyone.
